The event will take place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort located in the West Midlands. Both IPAF members and non-members in the UK are invited to join the fourth IPAF Elevation UK, which is aimed at the UK powered access industry. The event is a chance for powered access professionals to network, to hear about the latest developments, and to celebrate all that is great about our industry.

The event will highlight 40 years of IPAF in the powered access industry as well as the usual format of an afternoon conference, themed at 'It's all about the people' and a gala dinner with entertainment. The full programme and schedule of events can be found in the sections below.

Event Schedule

Day 1 - 16 November
  • 13:00 - 14:00  - Networking Lunch & Registration
  • 13:00 - 18:00 - IPAF Elevation Conference

    The conference theme is 'It's all about the people', presentations will look at the future; attracting talent to the powered access industry, working with the next generation of people and celebrating IPAF's 40th anniversary.

  • 18:30 - 19:30 - Evening Drinks Reception

    Guests for the gala dinner will be welcomed to a drinks reception, with a chance to view IPAF's 40 years in the industry, guests will also enjoy entertainment from magician Rod Williams. 

  • 19:30 - 22:00 - IPAF Elevation Gala Dinner

    All guests will enjoy a three course dinner followed by entertainment, which will be announced soon. 

Day 2 - 17 November

    Relive the thrilling dramas of the Ryder Cup at one of the best courses in the UK. This PAR 72 has seen many golf legends step up to the tee to take on the challenge… Will you be the next?

    Access to the leisure facilities, a 25 minute spa treatment and Fire & Ice Experience – free of charge, limited spaces.

2023 Gala Dinner Entertainment

Comedian Simon Evans will be in attendance to provide after dinner entertainment. 

Simon Evans is one of the UK’s most respected and best loved comedians. Familiar for his TV and radio appearances, as well as for his live tour shows and festival appearances, he is particularly popular on the corporate and after dinner circuit. He has been at the top of his game for over 20 years yet at this year’s Edinburgh festival was unanimously agreed to only be getting better.

His TV credits include two appearances on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, one on Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, and a season of Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week. On BBC Radio 4 his series Simon Evans Goes to Market, has had six seasons, delighting audiences with his witty and insightful take on the comedically unpromising territory of economics, all of which prove among the most popular downloads on the BBC Sounds app. He is also a regular on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, and various other panel games, and from 1998 to 2002 he wrote and hosted eight series of the news satire, The Way It Is.

Terms & Conditions

IPAF Elevation UK (thereafter referred to as ‘the event’), taking place on 16-17 November 2023 at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, Lichefield Road, Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, B76 9PR. This event is organised by IPAF. Registration is processed by IPAF, Moss End Business Village, Crooklands, Cumbria LA7 7NU, UK. 
 
Registration & Accommodation 
Participants register for the event and book accommodation through www.ipaf.org/elevation. Payment is made in GBP £ online by credit card or by invoice as part of the registration process. Registration fees paid by participants cover admission to the gala dinner and networking event prior to the gala dinner. Attendance at the meetings and/or the main conference is free of charge. Accommodation booking is optional. 
 
VAT 
UK VAT of 20% will be included on all fees. Details on reclaiming VAT can be found at: www.gov.uk/vat 
 
Confirmation of Registration 
A confirmation of registration will be sent to each registrant upon receipt of payment together with an invoice. Delegates are asked to bring proof of confirmation to the event. 
 
Change of Participants 
Organisations/companies may change the names of individuals on their booking until three days prior to the event start date, at no charge. 
 
Cancellation Policy – Cancellation by the Participant 
Participants can cancel their registrations and/or accommodation until 1 October 2023 without any charge. Until that date, payments already received will be refunded (limited to the amount paid by the participants). Refunds will be handled after the event. 
 
In case of cancellation after 1 October 2023, or in case of no-show, no refund will be made. 
 
Cancellation Policy – Cancellation by the Organiser 
If the organiser cancels the event for any reason other than force majeure, registration fees are refunded to registered participants. However, refunds are limited to the amount paid by the participants. The organiser is not liable for any other loss or expenses incurred by participants as a consequence of the cancellation. 
 
If the organiser cancels, postpones or relocates the event on account of fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, decisions taken by the national and/or local authorities, weather conditions, strike, lock-out, labour disturbances, explosions, sabotage, accident, terrorism, war, acts of God, or any other causes or casualties beyond the control of the organiser, no refund shall be made. Participants waive all claims for damage in this case. 
 
Marketing & PR 
By attending the event and associated activities such as a networking session, you are giving IPAF and its media partners permission to use photographs and/or footage of you captured during the entire event, for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media. If booking on behalf of other people, you are confirming that you have gained their consent for this aspect of the terms & conditions. 
 
Event App 
By registering for the event and associated activities such as the networking session, you are giving IPAF permission to list your name, company and job title on the event app. This information is displayed on the event app and can be accessed by all delegates. If booking on behalf of other people, you are confirming that you have gained their consent for this aspect of the terms & conditions.
